THE SWORD OR THE CUP

This week Ryan preached on John 18:1-36, which is Jesus’s arrest and the beginning of his trial. This is where Jesus disarms Peter, and in so doing disarms all Christians. Peter loses his ability to choose and control his own destiny, and must give up his will to God. We all have the choice of the cup or the sword, to do our will or God’s will.
